I’m Destiny Johnson—Certified Wedding Planner and proud owner of this beautiful brand, You In Luxe. It’s so lovely to virtually meet you!
I specialize in boutique-style planning, partnering closely with couples - like you - to create unforgettable guest experiences and bring their vision to life with intentional details and curated Pinterest-worthy mood boards.
My goal is to make your wedding planning journey organized, smooth, and genuinely exciting—from our very first conversation to your final dance.

Every child gets asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" For the longest time, my answer was clear: “A pediatrician!” That dream stuck until 2001, when The Wedding Planner starring Jennifer Lopez graced the big screen. Watching her calm demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to her clients sparked something within me. I knew then and there—I wanted to be that kind of wedding planner: organized, resourceful, and genuinely invested in making dreams come true.
In 2019, I took the leap and began partnering with couples to create celebrations of love that were as unique as their stories. From intimate elopements to grand-scale affairs, I quickly discovered my passion for bringing visions to life with thoughtful planning and expert coordination.
At You In Luxe, I embrace a boutique planning approach. This means a strong focus on customer service and creating a one-stop shop for my clients. I love collaborating with the talented vendors on my approved vendor list and always enjoy making new connections in the industry. By building these relationships, I ensure every event is supported by a trusted team of professionals who share the same dedication to excellence.
